Lots of new produce is so close. This darned cold spring/summer has really slowed things down. It’s still mostly greens and lettuce with a few crunchy stuff thrown in. Here’s my anticipated harvest list for this week: Napa cabbage, kohlrabi, large lettuce heads (romaine, red oak leaf, green butterhead, green leaf) baby lettuce heads (mix of green and red oak, butter, and romaine, plus a few frilly varieties), bunched red beets, salad mix, Japanese salad turnips, curly kale, Lacinato kale, Swiss chard, garlic scapes, dill, cilantro, basil tops, oregano, and possibly a few radishes. No arugula again this week – rain delayed planting back in May. Coming soon (next week) are sugar snap peas, broccoli, and possibly a few cucumbers. Eat your greens this week and look forward to warmer weather and more variety in the near future. See you Saturday!
Sweet Earth Garden and Vintage China
Sweet Earth Gardems will be at the market this week with Peonies, Iris, Spiderwort, Lilies, Baptisia, Siberian Iris, Gerbera Daisies, Daisies, Allium and Verbena. See you soon.

I have my loyal helper coming to market this Saturday; so be sure to stop by and say "hi" to my husband Brian and our daughter Sam. Scones, muffins, bars and more are on the menu for the weekend. I'm so grateful for all of you being patient with us. I'll keep everyone updated as we get more test results and such. See you soon!

Magic Light Photography
I am planning on being at the market this weekend! I will have my hand made note cards as well as a selection of matted prints, ready for framing.  Father's day is just around the corner and one of my photos would make a great gift for Dad!  All of my cards are blank inside and can be used for any occasion.  Stop out and take a look at my work or if you have questions about photography, I'm always happy to talk and share with others.  My photos do not like moister so if there is rain in the forecast  I will not be at the market. When I'm not at the market my cards are available at the Mineral Point Collection located at 151 High Street.  You can also view my work at www.magiclightphotography.com or on my Facebook Page.  If you see anything of mine online that you would like a print of, please let me know!  I'm also available for special photo projects and portrait sessions.  Contact me for more information.  I hope to see you on Saturday.

It's June Dairy Month - congratulations to our area dairy producers for their hard work and great products they bring to us each and every day!
As Beef producers, we would like to remind you that it is never to soon to be thinking about 'July Beef Month' in Wisconsin. Time to begin planning your menu for those July 4th neighborhood cookouts and family camping trips to one of our beautiful parks or lakes in the area. It is never too early to place your order to ensure you will have what you want.
This week we will have our full line of tender, flavorful Black Angus Beef products and pork products at the Mineral Point Market. Bratwurst, Ground Beef Patties, Steaks and Pork Chops are in stock for grilling that quick after work evening meal.

Usborne Books and More with Katie
Hi! I'm sponsoring a kids activity corner once a month for your kids to play and learn within your view at market. While at market you can browse my wide range of children’s books related to plants, animals, farming and cooking. These books are a great way to bond with your kids and get them involved in all of the wonderful things related to fresh food and farmers markets! Throughout the summer my booth will carry a different theme, and at times portions of my proceeds will go to benefit local groups and organizations.  You can always shop my link online or contact me directly if you don’t see what you’re looking for at the booth https://d8159.myubam.com/1240701 or benishk4@gmail.com.
