Bures Berry Patch

What a wonderful season we had this year at the Mineral Point Market! It was so nice to see you all each week and know that we were feeding your families as much as ours by growing fresh, ripe, and delicious produce. But alas, winter is coming. Sure hope you were able to put away some of the deliciousness for winter. We will see you again in spring. Until then, we continue to be open at the Patch throughout winter with our farm fresh eggs, pure local honey, dilly beans, and frozen sweet corn. Be sure to check our website for hours and availability. Like us on Facebook or signup for our e-newsletter to get the latest shovel on what's happening in the Patch!  Hope to see you in the Patch soon! Thanks again and have a fabulous winter! Farmer Kathy, Ed, Abby, and Ben

THANK YOU to our loyal customers for supporting both us and the Mineral Point Market during the 2015 - the Market's 20th anniversary season.  It's still hard to believe 20 years have come and gone.  We owe our success at the Market to all of you for your support - we would not be here without you.  We also want to give a shout out to Brewery Creek and Tequila Point restaurants in Mineral Point and Drfitless Market in Platteville for their unwavering support by purchasing our products for their businesses.  We are so fortunate to live in a community and region that believes in supporting local businesses in this manner.  We strongly encourage you to give them your support as well.

Shooting Star Farm
It’s a beautiful 65 degrees as I write this, but alas, our season at the Mineral Point Market is over. We want to heartily thank all of you who bought produce from us and patronized  other vendors throughout the wonderfully long season. It was a great year! We will turn our attentions to repairing structures and equipment, mulching beds, doing bookkeeping (oh yeah, that), and fertilizing hoophouses in preparation for spring planting. If anyone happens to be in Madison this Saturday, you can find us at one last outdoor  Dane County market on the capitol square. Our stand will be near the corner of South Carroll and West Main Streets (the southwest corner of the square). We are running low on storage crops, but among other items will have lots of lettuce, radishes, leeks, bunched greens, and carrots. See you around town this winter! Rink, Jenny, and Charlie.
