October 21st Final Outdoor Market!

Hello MP Market Goers!

This is it! The sun is setting on another wonderful market season in Mineral Point. This Saturday is the Final Outdoor Market of the season (stay tuned as the market may move indoors). We can't thank you enough for your support this season! It's been so fun seeing everyone Saturday mornings. The market really is a place to gather with friends, do your weekly shopping, and relax with a cup of coffee.
Though it's a busy weekend with the Fall Art Tour in town don't miss out on your last opportunity to stock up on items for winter. At market there'll be canned and pantry goods, frozen foods, and many items that will last for months in your freezer (meat), pantry (flour, soups) or your basement (squash, pie pumpkins). Also, there'll be gifts and cards for those you love. Furthermore, this is your chance to ask the vendors if they'll have anything available throughout the winter, as many of us do.
It's the final market of the season. Before heading out to the many amazing artists' studios this weekend head on up to Water Tower Park for a final farewell to the 2017 market season.

Here is a partial list of items at this week's market: Beef, Pork, Bacon, Chicken, Cheese, Eggs, Apples, Pears, Lettuce, Salad Mix, Spinach, Escarole, Endive, Radicchio, Swiss Chard, Kale, Rutabagas, Radishes, Salad Turnips, carrots, red and Tomatoes, Peppers, Eggplant, Artichokes, Brussel Sprouts, Onions, Shallots, Leeks, Garlic, Cilantro, Sage, Oregano, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Potatoes, Pumpkins, Squash, Honey, Pie, Dilly Beans, Flour, Cornmeal, Salsa, Jam, BBQ Sauce, Relish, Cards, Baked Goods, Coffee, Doll Clothes and much more. Come and check it all out!

We look forward to seeing you this Saturday morning at Water Tower Park, Business Hwy 151 at Madison Street, Mineral Point! 8:30 to 11:00 a.m.

Hi All!  Here we are at the end of our season already.  How time does fly when having fun!!  And, indeed,  being part of Market is fun.  I'm planning (again) to be there this Sat. Oct. 21.  They are saying "Breezy" on Sat.???  That almost says to me "very windy"!!  If that is the case I may not be there.......or......we may just shop out of my totes instead of a display.  In case I don't make it, I do want to thank you all for your support all season.  I've met many new people and have been able to connect again with many previous friends and it has all been wonderful.  Please keep Mummu in mind (even after Market season is done) for your special little girl's doll clothes needs.  Don't forget the holidays are coming and every little girl loves to get new clothes for her doll.  You can always call me at 623-2592 and we can set a time for you to come to my house in Cobb and shop.  Take care, everyone......have a great holiday season and the best in the new year.  I'm already looking forward to seeing you all next year under the water tower in M.Pt.     Thank you again and Keep Smiling!!     Mummu      aka Susan Marr

Stop by and see me under the red canopy at market this Saturday. I have some cute mini notebooks, a fun little back to school item.   My table will also have cards for all occasions; birthdays, anniversaries, babies, get well, sympathy.   Sending a handmade card is a great way to say “I care”.   Follow my Facebook page Scrappin with Joni to see some of the product I will have at the market.  I look forward to seeing you at the Mineral Point Market.  Please note:  My participation at Market this time of year is weather dependent, if it is raining I will not be there.   Paper and rain are not a good mix.

It has been a wonderfully warm fall and we finally got some much-needed rain. Due to the steady warmth we still have tomatoes, eggplant, cucumbers, and peppers – although the supplies are dwindling. The heat brought along broccoli and cauliflower weeks earlier than expected, so it’s nearly done for the season. A few new items this week include winter radishes, rutabagas (big), and a smaller variety of kohlrabi. In addition, we’ll have beets (last of the year), turnips, French breakfast radishes, celery root (big and easy to use), cabbage, kale, Swiss chard, spinach, lettuces, endive, escarole, radicchio, salad mix, arugula, leeks, 3 types of onions, garlic, shallots, cilantro, oregano, and sage. We may bring a limited amount of winter squash, too. See you Saturday! Rink, Jenny, and Charlie

Hello everyone! What a great weekend it was last week! We were able to get all the forage chopped and bagged. It looks pretty good! It'll look even better this winter when all we need to do is scoop some out and feed the cows! This week I'll be back with the usual favorites and bread! With only a few market Saturday's left, now is a great time to start stocking up. I try to have items that freeze well, so stop by Saturday morning and put some treats away for later!

My market season may be over for the year as October starts to get extra busy for me.  Amy and I are heading out of town this weekend in search of fall colors and some relaxing times with the boys so I will not be at the market.  I'm still unsure of our plans for the 14th but will upate you next week.  When I'm not at the market, my cards are always available at the Mineral Point Collection located at 151 Hight St. in Mineral Point.  I have also been very busy getting things ready for the Fall Art Tour which is October 20-22nd.  This will be that last large display of my work for the year.  If there is an image you would like a print of or cards made, please feel free to contact me at magiclightphotogrpahy@gmail.com or on Facebook.  You can also see a large selection of my work on my website. Hi All!  It seems like a very long time since I've been in touch with you but my life has been quite busy lately.  After missing 2 Market days while visiting my sister, I then had a craft show last Sat. at Barneveld....so again, no Market for me.  Now this Sat. Oct.7 I will be at Livingston for a craft show at the Fire Dept.  I certainly do plan to be at Market next week, Sat. Oct. 14.  I just hope the weather cooperates so I CAN be there!  I do miss seeing everyone.....it's always such a fun day.  I'm busy making Halloween costumes for the dolls and it is such fun!  They are turning out quite cute.  Also working on winter PJ's, fleece jackets/ponchos, and more sports themed items for Packers, Badgers, etc.  So I do keep busy.  If you have time this Sat., do come over to Livingston and see the great crafted goodies there and stop by my space and say "Hi".  It is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  So till I see you again, Keep Smiling!   Mummu

I will not be at Market this Saturday, in my place will be Stamping with Charity.  Stop by and see her beautiful cards and other products.   You will love them.  I will be back next week.
