Hello MP Market Goers!

We have had such a wonderful season this year and we sincerely thank you for coming out to the Mineral Point Market each week.  The market would not be the truly wonderful event that it is each week if you didn't come out to enjoy it.  All of our vendors love being able to produce wonderful products for both your dinner table and your home.  We hope to see all of you once again come spring time, if not before.

Be sure to scroll down and find out what your favorite vendors are doing over the winter and whether or not their products are available throughout the winter.

Thanks again!

I was glad to hear that Market will continue indoors for awhile.  My sewing machine is working overtime these days but I still feel like I don't have "enough" made.  Again, that darn day job.....always taking up my time!!  (I  REALLY do love my job, tho!!)  I did find out I have a space at Crazy Frank's.  So I will be bringing doll clothes there starting about mid to late Nov.  Don't forget what great gifts they will make for those new (and old!) dolls.  And the holiday coffee pot can be ready with a phone call from you to come and shop at my house in Cobb.  The number is 623-2592.  Bring the dolls (and girls??) along to find those perfect outfits!!  Go Packers and Badgers!!  I do have the poncho sets ready for both teams now.  I'm hoping to see you on Sat.  Thank you all for your support of the Mineral Point Market all season and for shopping with me.  I appreciate your business!     Mummu

Here’s a list for Saturday the 11th: lettuce, salad mix, arugula, swiss chard, kale, carrots, beets, radishes, leeks, onions, garlic, scallions, red cabbage, kohlrabi, broccoli, bok choy, napa cabbage, parsley, cilantro, and possibly spinach. Charlie and Rink will once again set up a table to sell popcorn for their cub scouts fundraiser. They’ll have several varieties that you can take home immediately. Most others will be available for delivery within a week. See  you Saturday! Rink, Jenny, and Charlie

Matchbook Magnet
Hello market-goers!  I’m excited to be back at the market this week with my handcrafted magnets.  They are made using images from vintage matchbooks my Dad collected during the golden age of matchbook advertising – the 1940s thru early 1960s.  They will brighten your kitchen, office, or workshop and are a unique and personal gift for any special occasion.  I have magnets that cover a wide variety of interests and appeal to all ages.  It’s not too early to start your holiday shopping, so stop by and pick up some stocking stuffers.  They also fit nicely in a Christmas card for an unexpected surprise.  matchbookmagnets@yahoo.com  See you Saturday!  Cindy
Mummu's Makeovers aka Susan Marr
It seems as though fall has arrived.....and I am enjoying it!!  I guess it is my favorite time of year.  But, unfortunately, with it comes the end of Market days.  I will not be at Market this Sat. (Oct.
4) as I have several craft shows coming up and I MUST get at my sewing machine big time!!  So I won't even have Giada (my granddaughter) this week-end and that does make me sad.  And, as I look at the calendar, I see I will not be at Market next week, either (Oct. 11).  However, I will be at the Montfort community center that day for their fall craft show.  So if you want to get started on early holiday shopping or just see my new creations, come on over (after your visit to M.Pt. Market, of course)!  Keep in mind, too, you can call me anytime at 623-2592 and I'll help you shop from my house in Cobb.  Enjoy these beautiful days and support your local Market vendors!   Mummu
Queen Bee Acres
Queen Bee Acres will be at the Market this week with our delicious honey, pure and natural from southwest Wisconsin.  This week we are introducing Creamed Honey in limited quantities.  Stop by the booth and try some.   We also have sweet smelling golden beeswax for sale in small, medium & large size bars.  Beeswax has many uses such as candle making, waterproofing, making cosmetics, conditioning thread, lubrication or for polishing.  Come enjoy the Market.  Feel free to ask questions about beekeeping, we are happy to share what we have learned and continue to learn about the beekeeping.  Pete & Fran Demo, Keepers of the bees; www.queenbeeacres.com
