Hi my name is Jason Heberlein, I am owner and operator of JC Acres Goats. We are no strangers to the Mineral Point Market, as my wife previously vended there as Lacey's Lathers Goat Milk Soap and Lotion. Our family milks goats on the rolling hills of south western Wisconsin, where we raise dairy and meat goats for milk and meat. Our business consists of selling goat meat state wide. We offer all the cuts possible to store's, restaurant, individuals, and any business. We offer live goats, dressed goats and all cuts of goat including snack sticks, steaks, ribs, and dog bones. We are here to supply consumers with local quality goat meat products. I am sorry to say that I won't be at the Mineral Point Market until the middle of June. Stay tuned to the newsletter for the exact date. thanks again. from jc acres
Magic Light Photography
I hope everyone had a great 4th of July!  I am planning on being back at the market this Saturday, weather permitting.  This week I will have a few new photos of a fox kit family that I photographed earlier this Spring that are super cute!  I will also have my cards as well as several other matted prints that are ready to hang.  My cards are all blank inside and can be used for any occasion.  I am going to be out of town with my family the following 2 weekends but plan on being back on July 28th.  When I'm not at the market my cards are available at the Mineral Point Collection located at 151 High Street. Or feel free to visit my website at www.magiclightphotography.com or my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/mlp.michaeljsmith/

Shooting Star Farm
Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July! Saturday looks to be a beautiful, and much cooler day – perfect for spending time at the Market. Zucchini is finally starting to come in. I’ll have a few baskets worth this weekend, along with the a good supply of cucumbers. I thought our first green beans would be ready, but they will be another week. I will have more scallion, however. These are big! 3 or 4 to a bunch. They taste and cook just like the smaller ones, but take less time to prepare. Other items this week: bunched beets, red and green leaf lettuce, green bibb lettuce, mixed baby lettuce heads, cilantro, dill, oregano, tarragon, basil, bulk carrots, green cabbage, broccoli, radishes (possibly red and French breakfast), kossack kohlrabi (the big kind), curly and lacinato kale, Swiss chard, salad mix, arugula, and possibly one or two other items. See you Saturday!
