Our final market is here! It's been such a fabulous season; we had plenty of heat and lots of rain to go along with it! Usually we have one or the other. It was a great reprieve to have both this season.

When shopping market Saturday be sure to keep in mind your needs throughout the upcoming holiday season. Whether it be baking for company or gifts for teachers and hostesses. I will have Jewelry only until the current inventory is sold out. Anyone interested in private watercolor painting lesson please stop by. I teach two people at a time at the rate of $10/hour each. My course is eight lessons long.

Lacey's Lathers
It is with a heavy heart that I would like to announce that Lacey’s Lathers will be suspending all sales at the end of 2016. Due to a combination of events:  a recent promising job, a growing family and some extended family illness I have decided I will be taking a break from the soap and lotion business for the near future.
I would like to thank all my customers for their past and present purchases and support!!!  I could not have asked for a better town then Mineral Point, and community then southwest Wisconsin to grow and run a business! The people I have met and experiences I have been through have been amazing to say the least!!!
For those of you wondering if you can still stock up on your favorite products, you can! We still have a great selection of soaps available and we will be using up our remaining solid lotion bar ingredients in the coming weeks. Orders will be filled on a first come first serve basis. We will finish our year at the Mineral Point Market, Fennimore, Argyle, and Lancaster Craft Fairs. Soaps can last up to 5 years when stored in normal temperatures and lotion bars have a shelf life of 2 years if kept under 70 degrees.
Please call, email, text, or facebook me with your orders. (608)574-9829 laceyslathers@yahoo.com

Mummu's Makeovers aka Susan Marr
Hi All!!  I'm finally back at home after 10 days in northern MN spending time with my sister and her family.  I had a wonderful time, as usual!  Color was at peak up there so the scenery was fantastic and made for a very pleasant drive.  I do plan to be at Market this week, Sat. 15 and it will be my last visit for the year.  My craft shows are starting so I'll be on the road.  I will have a schedule of where I'll be and when for you to see on Sat.  One thing I do want to mention is I will be having my Open House the week of Dec. 5 - 9  so do mark you calendars now and come on over!  Bring friends, too!  My phone number is 623-2592 if you want to call ahead.  I want to take this time to thank all of my loyal customers all summer.  It was great to see everyone and get caught up!  And, as always, it was super to meet new people and show my doll clothes to them.  I look forward to seeing you all again next spring when Market starts again.  Have a great holiday season and the best in the new year.   Mummu

It’s hard to believe that Saturday will be the last Market of the season! It seems to have the first real frost this week as well. We’ve cleaned the remaining tomatoes off the vine, harvested the peppers, and protected a few items that might get damaged by the frost. The abnormally wet weather has made for a challenging fall season. We’ve had issues with crop loss due to a disease that affects cauliflower, rutabaga, turnip, and cabbage – the very vegetables that are usually in abundance right now. However, we’ll still have plenty of variety for Saturday.  Here’s the expected list: beets, radishes, celery root, leeks, napa cabbage, bok choy, broccoli heads and shoots, kale, salad mix, arugula, plenty of lettuce, red and yellow onions, a mix of bunched Asian greens, radicchio, frisee endive, carrots,  roma tomatoes, cherry tomatoes (hopefully), sweet and hot peppers, spinach (limited amount), a variety of herbs, and probably a few other things I’m forgetting. It should be a nice morning. See you then! Rink, Jenny, and Charlie
