We have a lot of excitement developing in our product line this season - some never before offered items and some old products with a new twist! Watch future Mineral Point Market weekly newsletters for details. This week Marr's Valley View Farms will have the complete offering of our products - everything from lean Ground Beef to Tenderloin to Pork Chops and everyone's favorite - Bacon! If you need a large quantity or just want to pre-order for pick-up at market, e-mail your order to federman@charter.net by 5:00 pm on Friday night. It is never to early to place your order for that special graduation party or Memorial weekend cookouts. We are offering pick-up of our Meat CSA at market this year - ask us on Saturday for details and how to join. See you soon - Mike - Lois - Doral

Mission Abolition
New this year, however not for a couple of weeks! Mission Abolition creates schlep bags made from donated fabrics, which brings unique color and pattern designs to each bag. All proceeds from the sales of these bags are donated to the Not For Sale organization, which works to end human trafficking and modern-day slavery. Mission Abolition believes in raising awareness of the needs of people involved in human trafficking and modern-day slavery with a personal touch sewn into each bag. Look for them in weeks to come.

P & M Gardens
We will be back again this year with more wonderful perennial plants. This week P & M will have Hosta, Prairie Smoke (native), and other perennials. We look forward to coming to market and seeing everyone. It has been a long cold winter! Hope for SUNSHINE.

Shooting Star Farm
What a chilly spring! Crops in the field are growing slower than I can ever remember, but we do have some fresh vegetables thanks to our hoophouse! For the first market we'll have some heads of red and green leaf lettuce as well as bibb lettuce. Plus a mixture of cut baby lettuces like we use in salad mix (no spicy greens-hopefully they'll be ready next week). We'll also have some French breakfast and red radishes, rhubarb, and a limited supply of over wintered spinach. We hoped for more spinach, but some winter-killed, and a herd of hungry deer had their fill, so we have just a modest supply. We're looking forward to Saturday. See you then! Rink, Jenny, and Charlie.

Other vendors we know to be coming include:
Natalie Hanke who will be bringing salsa.
Mary Jean James will bring her farm fresh eggs as well as her farm raised chickens.
Cocomand (John and Janet Warrick) who make confections.
Cathryn Gonyer will be bringing baked goods.
Mike Smith will be back once again with his captivating pictures.
Papa Bob will also be here with his scrumptious breads.
Emily Ewers will bring her colorful and craftful jewelry.
