Mineral Point Market "Indoors" - October 30th

Hello MP Market goers!

What a wonderful turnout for the first Mineral Point Market "Indoors" of 2010! I have to say based on the wind this week I am VERY thankful that Market is now indoors!

You will find us again this Saturday, October 30th, indoors at 114 High Street, downtown Mineral Point. Located directly across the street from Library Park, 114 High Street is a perfect building for hosting an indoor market with its majestic glass front and spacious inside.

MUSIC at this week's Market!

It is "Trick or Treat" week-end and we are blessed with a real treat at this week's Market. Jen Logueflower, John Birner and Scott Steiber will serve up their renditions of mostly familiar tunes from decades past and undoubtedly a round of "The Pancake Song and Ode to a Fruit and Vegetable Person". We will have a few tables and chairs this week so pull up a chair, tap your feet and linger with a market treat.

Mike Manogue - aka "Mr. Tippy Top"
did not move indoors this year however our good friends Keith and Leslie of Driftless Appetite recently visited with him at his orchards. Check out their blog for a wonderful insight into Mike's world and some great photos of Mike and his fruit trees. His exuberant and energetic personality comes through even in pictures! http://www.driftlessappetite.com/

Below is the list of those that will be vending this Saturday. New vendors are welcome - if you or someone you know are interested in vending please let us know.

Hello MP Market goers!

Okay - I, like many of you, am beside myself with how gorgeous the weather has been the last 2 weeks! This is incredible to say the least. The harvest is definitely ahead of normal and way ahead of last year when everything was so wet - some crops never did make it out of the fields. We can count our blessings this year for sure.
