December 12th Winter Indoor Market at The Old Royal Inn

The Old Royal Inn's Winter Farmers' Market Update:

NEW FARMER:

King's Hill Farms: This is an organic, permaculture CSA farm bringing to the market: carrots, parsnips, turnips, a variety of potatoes, a variety of onions, celeriac, winter squash and beets. They are vendors at the Chicago market but are also going to come here now, yeah! Please make sure you welcome them to our cozy market!

Alpacas of Prairie Station will be there with their yarn and roving and hand knit items for sale

Not to mention The Old Royal Inn will be serving Egg Croissant Sandwiches made to order from Mark and our famous cinnamon rolls, pecan rolls, filled croissants, plain croissants and cookies! Also be sure to try our freshly made bread.

This week at the market Jennifer and the kids will be soliciting donations for Feed My Starving Children. (www.fmsc.org) This is a great non-profit Christian organization where 0.94 of every dollar donated goes directly to feeding the children of poor and impoverished countries -- only 0.06 goes to administration fees! Volunteers do all the food packaging! Gift cards will also be available to donate money in someones name for a great Christmas present. Please make sure you bring some change to donate, it only takes 0.17 to make a meal! Information will be on hand to learn more about this organization. Mark will also be donating all his tip money for making the Egg Croissant sandwiches. Please join us in helping the children!
