Many of you know us as the little spot next to Tequila Point. We thought it might be nice to share a taste of the café with you all. Tim and Richard, myself and Richard's mom have been working on some sweet and savory offerings (several of which are café favorites). All of our recipes are scratch-made in small batches right down the street in the kitchen of the Old Royal Inn. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do! We will also be serving hot and cold Colectivo coffee (roasted in Milwaukee and served in the café). Thank you for stopping by. We look forward to a wonderful season!

Cub Scout Popcorn
The Mineral Point Cub Scout Pack 337 will be at the Market this weekend selling popcorn!  The popcorn sales have a direct impact on local Scouting activities and are used to fund the Pack all year long.  We will have a lot of popcorn on hand so no need to wait for your order to be delivered at a later date!  There are lots of options to choose from!  Unpoped, microwave, butter toffee, sweet and salty, chocolate, caramel, cheese and more.  There is even an option to send popcorn directly to military personnel.  We hope to see you on Saturday and thank you for your support of Scouting!

Farmers Daughter
Hello everyone! What amazing weather this is! Since going through my first multiple sclerosis attack in May; I'm finding that I really enjoy this 70 degree weather!
Come and see us Saturday morning; we'll have breads this week. The lack of humidity in the air makes yeast much more pleasant to work with! We'll also have scones, muffins, bars and more! Remember too that we take orders, so feel free to drop us a line with those, and suggestions if you have any of things you would like to see! Hope to see you all Saturday!
James' Pine Valley Farm
We will be at market Saturday with our usual items - whole chicken, half chicken, leg/thigh packages and breast packages. Also gizzards and hearts and livers. We will also have many cheese varieties along with several dozen eggs. Ralph and Mary Jean, James Pine Valley Farm
Magic Light Photography
I will not be at the market this weekend. My market season is done for this year, unless we go into November.  But that doesn't mean my work will not be available!  I will be on the Fall Art Tour October 18-20.  When I'm not at the market my cards are available at the Mineral Point Collection located at 151 High Street. You can also view my work at www.magiclightphotography.com or on my Facebook Page. If you see anything of mine online that you would like a print of, please let me know! I'm also available for special photo projects and portrait sessions. Contact me for more information.

Summer is over 'again' and we are back to Fall. Have to say Fall feels pretty nice. Word on the street is the Market will be moving indoors at Aspen Ridge again this year once the outdoor Market ends so stay tuned to the weekly newsletter for updates. As the season winds down we will gradually discontinue items we carry only during the Market season. As usual, for best selection make sure you come to Market early and stock up on your favorite beef and pork cuts or perhaps live on the edge and try something totally new. If you need a large quantity or just want to pre-order for pick-up at Market, e-mail your order to federman@charter.net or call 608-574-2899 by 5:00 p.m. Friday.
Mummu's Makeover
Hi All!  Last Sat. wasn't very good for my dolls to be out in the weather so I am hoping this week will be better......even tho it doesn't look like it at this time.  If it does cooperate, I do plan to be at Market.  Do stop by and say "Hi" and check out lots of new clothes for the dolls.  It's not too early to be thinking about  Christmas gifts!!  If I'm not able to be there and you do need a gift, feel free to all me at 623-2592 and I would love to have you come to my house in Cobb to do your shopping. (Actually that can happen at any time.)   Looking forward to seeing you under he water tower!!     Mummu

Sitka Salmon

Shooting Star Farm
The tomatoes are plentiful in my hoophouse this week. I will have lots of varieties: red slicers (big and small), orange and red saladettes (great for pizzas, sauce and salads), heirlooms (delicious flavors with soft, melting skins), cherry types (red, grape, sungold, black), and romas. If you are looking for canning quantities of red or roma tomatoes, this is a good time to come to market. I’ll have some extras boxed in 20# quantities for $30.00. Along with tomatoes, I’ll have red and green sweet Italian peppers, green bell peppers, jalapenos, tomatillos, a few eggplants, fennel, Swiss chard, red beets, purple cauliflower, Romanesco broccoli, the last of the cucumbers, leeks, red and green cabbage, bunched carrots, red and yellow onions, Italian bottle onions, parsley, thyme, dill, oregano, a few bunches of salad turnips, and a bit of lettuce. I have lost a fair amount of leafy greens, radishes, and turnips to rotting  from the extremely wet weather this fall. I have more planted in the hoophouse, so those will be spared and should be ready in a week or two. So come and enjoy the tomatoes while they last. See you Saturday!

Shooting Star Farm
Feels like summer again. Wet, sticky, muddy summer. We could use some dry stretches, but the heat has certainly helped ripen my late crop of tomatoes. Zucchini is pretty much done, cucumbers plants are ready to give in after 3 ½  months of production, but I still have tomatoes. I’ll have small and large red tomatoes,  roma (sauce) tomatoes, several varieties of cherry tomatoes, and a nice selection of heirlooms again  this weekend. Lots more will be on the way in coming weeks. This will be the last week for green beans. The plants want to be done producing, and we want to be done picking. Green cabbage will be back, plus I’ll have more broccoli and possibly a few heads of purple cauliflower. Other items this week include: fennel bulb, celery, eggplant, green peppers (bell and Italian frying), hot peppers, tomatillos, kale, swiss chard, spinach, salad mix, arugula, lots of baby lettuce heads, beets, parsley, thyme, dill, cilantro, shallots, yellow onions, and lavender Italian bottle onions. Looks like great weather Saturday. See you then!

Sitka Salmon
We will be back September 21st with a variety of wild-caught Alaskan seafood.

Sunny Side Down Farm
We are modern farmers without a farming past. We started our market garden farm completely from scratch. Our interest in becoming self-sufficient and sustainable created a passion for Artisan Breads, Jams, Sauces, Salsas, Pickles, and Pies.
We are back this Saturday with all the fresh Sourdough and Artisan Boule Breads (made with Meadowlark Organics flour from Ridgeway, WI). New this weekend - fresh batches of Apple Butter and Bluebarb Butter (we'll even tell you some great ideas on how to use these in cooking). Peach Crumble and Apple Pies are also in season this weekend! But come early - our Artisan Bread and Pies go fast! Feel free to follow us at www.facebook.com/SunnySideDownFarm/ Thank you everyone for the warm welcome the last couple weekends!

Unfortunately due to Monday's storm damage, we will not be at Market, however we will be filling our pre-orders. Mother Nature has a weird way of switching things up on us here! Thanks for understanding! Jason

Marr's Valley View Farms
Friday.

Over The Moon Soap Company
Our luxurious soap is handcrafted in small batches in our Dodgeville kitchen of shea butter, goat's milk, and essential and/or fragrance oils. Each bar is hand cut and weighed and labeled in an environmentally-friendly fashion. We enjoyed seeing some old friends and meeting a lot of new folks. Stop by our tent and see what our nourishing soaps can do for you! Yvonne and Patrick McIntyre

Pam Rosecky
Hi this is Pam Rosecky and I will be doing chair massages again this year. $1.00 per minute working shoulders, neck and arms for a relaxing experience while under big oak trees. See you there.

Scrappin' With Joni
I will not be at Market this Saturday. I look forward to seeing you next Saturday.

Shooting Star Farm
Hope everyone had a chance to grill out, relax, or go to the fair over Labor Day weekend. Looks like the weather this Saturday will be pleasant once again. It has been difficult to ripen a late crop of tomatoes with such cool nights, so I won’t have canning quantities yet, but I will have more on my table than last week. Varieties will include red slicers, lots of heirlooms, salad-sized red and orange tomatoes, a few romas, and a good amount of red, Sungold, grape, and mixed cherry tomato pints. Broccoli is back this week, and radishes may be ready to pick as well. Spinach is finally available again, too. Not a whole lot this week, but I will have some. Other items include salad mix, arugula, baby romaine lettuce, Swiss chard, kale, green Italian frying peppers, shishito peppers, jalapeno peppers, tomatillos, red beets, cucumbers, white onions, purple bottle onions, celery, fennel bulbs, green beans, cilantro, dill, parsley, and thyme. Basil is done for the year, and zucchinis are on their last legs, so not sure if I’ll have any. More fall items coming soon.  See you on Saturday!

Sitka Salmon
We will be back Saturday with a variety of wild-caught Alaskan seafood.

Sunny Side Down Farm
We are modern farmers without a farming past. We started our market garden farm completely from scratch. Our interest in becoming self-sufficient and sustainable created a passion for Artisan Breads, Jams, Sauces, Salsas, Pickles, and Pies.
You've seen us the last couple of weekends with our Artisan Boule bread, Italian Tomato bread, & Sourdough bread. We hope to be back this Saturday with all the fresh-out-of-the-oven bread (made with Meadowlark Organics flour from Ridgeway, WI). New this weekend is our small-batch Garlic and Herbs Pasta Sauce. We are bringing back our homemade Artisan Pies and banana bread too! Feel free to follow us at www.facebook.com/SunnySideDownFarm/ Thank you everyone for the warm welcome the last couple weekends!

Tippy Top Orchard
Tippy Top hopes to be back this week!

Usborne Books with Katie
I will be at the Market this week! This will be my last week selling books at the Market, though I hope to do a couple more story times at the Dodge Lodge before the end of market season. Come to my booth to get some great books for your kids to keep them engaged in some fun reading for the school year. You could also purchase an "Awesome Box" for that special teacher in your life! Take advantage of the perks you get by purchasing directly and locally (no shipping! good deals! on the spot recommendations!) Let your kiddos browse my books, grab a bookmark and if enough kiddos gather around maybe an impromptu story time will happen! If you don't see what you're looking for, don't hesitate to ask! Thanks for your support!

Here is the list of the unconfirmed vendors that may or may not be at Market this week:
